Infrastructure Projects – to support the development of warehouse, flex warehouse, office, and retail space the following infrastructure elements were designed and installed, totaling approximately $6 million:

  • Over a mile of new roads to NCDOT standards, sidewalks, sewer mains, and water mains
  • Developed a comprehensive stormwater/nitrogen management plan, which includes one of the largest stormwater wetlands in NC (4 ac. surface area +/-) and several dry basins
  • Construction of the stormwater wetland was difficult due to high groundwater conditions
  • A plan was developed to remove or design around hundreds of caissons and grade beams left in the ground by Nabisco
  • Numerous surveys were performed and several subdivision plats were recorded. An ALTA Survey was recently completed of the entire property
  • A plan was implemented to beautify the scenic corridor buffer along the site, while creating a place to dispose of unusable soils

  • Performed civil engineer and surveyor duties
  • Designed roadways, sidewalks, utilities, storm drainage systems, stormwater management facilities and erosion control facilities
