Project overview:

• 3.5 MW AC fixed-tilt ground mounted system over 22 acres
• Produces enough clean energy to power approximately 700 homes
• Construction took approximately 6 months

Services provided:

• Drew construction drawings:
  • Construction drawings detailed access, drainage and soil and erosion control
  • Provided 5 full sediment basin designs as part of the sites erosion control package
  • Drawings identified temporary construction and permanent driveway entrances
  • Stormwater Management plan designed to meet Durham County Stormwater Ordinance – stormwater wetland and two permanent dry detention ponds required
• Obtained approvals & conducted permitting:
  • Site plan – Durham city/county planning
  • Land Disturbance Permits – Durham County
  • Driveway permit – NCDOT
  • Stormwater Permit – Durham County
• Provided construction administration:
  • Performed periodic field visits during construction to ensure compliance with the approved plans
  • Drew stormwater wetland/dry detention pond as-built drawing
