Greenfield North Industrial Park: Infrastructure
Greenfield North is a 228-acre industrial has worked with the Greenfield Team on numerous successful infrastructure and individual building projects within the park since 2004, beginning with an effort to re-masterplan the property after the Nabisco Corporation abandoned their efforts to construct an enormous factory on the site.

Infrastructure Garner, NC
Infrastructure Projects – to support the development of warehouse, flex warehouse, office, and retail space the following infrastructure elements were designed and installed, totaling approximately $6 million:
- Over a mile of new roads to NCDOT standards, sidewalks, sewer mains, and water mains
- Developed a comprehensive stormwater/nitrogen management plan, which includes one of the largest stormwater wetlands in NC (4 ac. surface area +/-) and several dry basins
- Construction of the stormwater wetland was difficult due to high groundwater conditions
- A plan was developed to remove or design around hundreds of caissons and grade beams left in the ground by Nabisco
- Numerous surveys were performed and several subdivision plats were recorded. An ALTA Survey was recently completed of the entire property
- A plan was implemented to beautify the scenic corridor buffer along the site, while creating a place to dispose of unusable soils
Services provided:
- Performed civil engineer and surveyor duties
- Designed roadways, sidewalks, utilities, storm drainage systems, stormwater management facilities and erosion control facilities
- Provided construction administration for work described above
