Hillsborough Train Station is a project commissioned by the Town of Hillsborough to provide a commuter rail stop within the town, along with office and meeting space. The station building will be approximately 7,000 sf and will be situated on a 6.6 acre property on Gold Hill Way, just off S. Churton St. The site improvements will include a rail platform, future greenway connection to downtown, parking, a bus stop, a constructed wetland, a bioretention cell, a public road extension, and outdoor seating.
Services Provided:
- Boundary and topographic surveys.
- Subdivision platting.
- Public roadway, utility, drainage, stormwater management, and erosion control design.
- Coordination of rezoning, annexation, site plan, and construction drawing/permitting processes with Town of Hillsborough and NCDENR.
- Construction drawings and permitting anticipated fall 2023.
- Construction administration & closeout.
