Link Apartments® Calyx is a 304-unit fully-amenitized residential community situated in the heart of Glen Lennox South.

Link Apartments® Calyx sits on a 2.4-acre site and includes a 520-space parking deck which will be shared with future buildings in the southern portion of Glen Lennox. The project features a small dog park on the parking deck, a clubhouse, fitness, yoga, and cycle centers, and a beautiful courtyard featuring a pool, outdoor grilling stations, and other amenities. Permeable pavers were incorporated into the walkways and courtyard areas to provide some of the required stormwater management.
Services provided:
- Worked with design team to design master plan for Block 9A.
- Performed boundary, topographical, utility location, and ALTA surveys, subdivisions, roadway abandonments and dedications.
- Designed surrounding infrastructure to create Block 9A (realigned Maxwell, Drive, reconfigured Lanark Road, added two private streets. This included utility extensions and relocations.
- Performed detailed site design, including design.
- Coordinated Development Agreement Compliance Permit process through the Town of Chapel Hill.
- Provided construction administration and closeout services.
- Overcame several challenges presented by the infrastructure surrounding the site during the design process.
